Welcome to our Avengers coloring pages.
The Avengers is a team of superheroes, they appeared in magazines published by Marvel Comics. The debut came in The Avengers #1 (Sept. 1963). This was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby, this followed the trend of super-hero teams after the success of DC Comics’ Justice League of America.
Labeled “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”, the Avengers originally consisted of Iron Man (Tony Stark), Ant-Man (Dr. Henry Pym), Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), Thor, and the Hulk (Bruce Banner). In issue #4 the team discovered the original Captain America, he was trapped in ice, he then joined the group after they revived him. Although one theme remains consistent: the Avengers fight “the foes no single superhero can withstand”. They still had a rotating roster, famous for its battle cry of “Avengers Assemble!”, has featured humans, mutants, robots, gods, aliens, supernatural beings, and even former villains. In these Avengers coloring pages you will mostly see the group featured in the movie. So expect to see the Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America and Thor. Maybe you will even recognize some of the villains in the coloring pages.
